



BASICS' mission is to provide individuals, families and the surrounding community with long lasting tools that support and maintain holistic recovery and wellness. This includes actively working to stabilize social problems and related issues that impact on recovery, economic self-sufficiency and permanent housing.


Permanent housing is a fundamental need for every person. BASICS prides itself on high quality transitional housing for homeless families. Our Transitional Residential Program provides temporary housing, comprehensive case management, training and employment opportunities. We also provide affordable housing to people affected by mental illness and substance abuse.
BASICS treatment services are based in the profound belief in human potential, respect for individual difference, and the enduring value of building on existing strengths and coping skills. Bilingual services include admissions, adult male substance abuse residential, adult outpatient substance abuse, adolescent outpatient substance abuse, adult psychosocial club, and school intervention.
The medical clinic provides a wide range of primary care services including physical examinations and ongoing care, podiatry, psychiatric, HIV testing and counseling, Hepatitis intervention, asthma, smoking cessation, and addiction medicine.
